ATC Swap Winter Sparkle

It's Artist Trading Card Swap time again! The last swap of the year kindly organised by Ali at VeryBerryHandmade. It's been a fun and creative year and I think it would be lovely to end the year with such a wonderful theme as Winter Sparkle.

It can just be all about winter, snow, sparkles... anything that tickles your imagination when you hear the word "winter" or you can add a bit of Christmas feel to it if your partner is OK with that.

I have to admit, once I signed up for this round, I panicked. I felt like I had no ideas left and I won't be able to fit in the time frame. The card has to be sent during the second week of December and not much time is left. But then something happened, my mind calmed down and I knew exactly what I was going to make. So I gathered the materials, got myself comfortable and off I went on yet another creative journey.

The card is ready and I am going to show it to you soon but for now, if you have a few spare minutes, visit the Very Berry Handmade Swap group on Flickr. There are so many interesting, creative, inspiring and simply amazing pieces of art produced by all the participants. Even if you are not taking a part in this Swap, it's the place to get some creativity boost from. Larisa xox

    1. I felt sad too when I learnt that you won't be taking a part in this swap, Dina. But you are going to do something even better than sewing!! :-) I am sure Ali is already planning the next swap for 2015.

  3. I too am panicking now, I love the idea and have gathered some items together and a few ideas, trouble is not sure if can translate into my stitching. Need to get on with it and hope my partner will like what I eventually come up with, So look forward to seeing yours and your amazing creativity.

    1. I am sure you are going to create something lovely, Carole. Just give it a try and you will surprise yourself. I passed the "panicky mode" and now I am in a "doubting mode"... is my partner going to like what I have produced? :-)
