Neutral Colours and a Birdie

Just a quick post. The last one for May. The Winter is finally here but for most of you it's the long awaited Summer. Wanted to show you one more finished project. A drawstring bag and a bib for a baby. Neutral colours and a small summery print make it perfect for both girls and boys.

A little birdie, the same one as on the Bambi fabric but a bit bigger embroidered in two strands of brown floss. I simply scanned the fabric and enlarged the picture by 200%. Traced it on fabric and it's done.

Again I used Amy's pattern for the bib. So easy to make! Maybe I should make a burp cloth as well with some of the Bambi print and muslin? Then it will make a lovely set for a "snack on the go". Have the most wonderful first day of Summer or Winter! Larisa xo

    1. Thank you, Gina for your lovely comment. The Bambi print is really delicate and is ideal for a baby.

  2. The bib is so lovely it would be a shame if food were spilled on it.
