Tutorial: Kiss Lock Purse Template Construction

Before you start making your own kiss lock frame purses, you need a good pattern. The problem is that frames come in different shapes and sizes, so as purses themselves. This is the way I constructed a template for a small square kiss lock frame that I used for the purses below. Once you construct your first template, it would be much easier for you to construct templates for any other shapes of frames.

Unexpectedly I had to spend last Monday at home, there was plenty of house work available for me and waiting for me, just for me but I chose this instead. Too hard to resist some lace, linen and silk, threads and the soothing sound of the sewing machine. I am sure you know what I am talking about.

My obsession with strawberries is still here and it seems like it's going to stay for a little while. I am myself surprised how much such a simple print can inspire one person. Pretty Little Fairies

I've had this pink fabric with pretty little fairies for a while but was not sure what to use it for. After I made the log cabin zippy, I thought that a little pouch would be a great idea for this print. I was going to make one with a zip but instead I came up with this.

Strawberry Patch

This is how I am going to call this bento drawstring bag. So deliciously sweet it is! I absolutely love how these two prints go together. Morning dew, pretty strawberries and a bit of gingham ribbon truly complement each other.

Berry Picking and Cookie Baking

I was busy yesterday cookie baking and strawberry "picking". These sweet berries just kept popping out of my sewing machine and my hands one after another. So cute and so addictive!
