Work in Progress: Not Much But...

... a couple of small comforting and quite interesting projects. Something that was inspired by quickly approaching Christmas and winter in Northern Hemisphere. An old drawing turned into a cross-stitch pattern and paired with one of the fabrics from Westminster range by Fabric Freedom (England), the print that was inspired by mill engravings of the 19th century.

And something that has been on my To-Do list for a long time and was influenced by my recent practice in free motion stitching. My favourite linen in stone colour and snippets of fabric scraps.

Come back soon to see what these small pieces are going to be turned into. Hope your week is creative, productive and filled with joy! Larisa xox

    1. It's one of those prints that the more you look at it the more details you find and the more you fall in love with it. Cant's wait to see how it feels to sew with. :-)

    1. Dina, thank you for your Christmas craft post, it got me in a mood for the wintery cross-stitching. But I wish there were 48 hours in a day and I had four arms instead of two. Oh, and I wish I was not so easily distracted with new ideas. :-)

  5. Hi again Larissa.
I am interested in the fabric you have used, it evokes thoughts of Lancashire (England) and its old cotton mills, I am going to track some down when I go to UK next month.

    1. It's a lovely fabric, Carole, with tiny intricate details. The print is clear and weaving is very even. The more I look at it, the more I fall in love with it. :-) Enjoy your quest and your trip to UK! Would love to hear if you find anything interesting.
