For a Newborn

Teeny weeny feet. I have made a set for a newborn baby of three burp cloths and one small bib in a simple but joyful grass green polka dot on white muslin.

It is the tiniest bib I have made so far, just the right size for a newborn baby. I used one layer of muslin on the outside and pure bamboo batting on the inside. It turned out very light and very soft, perfect for the delicate skin of a baby.

It's the first time I made anything using muslin, I was afraid that it would be too difficult to work with but it turned out much easier than I anticipated. And I really like the softness and weightlessness of these items. I also have some Belle & Boo muslin called Bunny Hug that I am so looking forward to sew with. Larisa xox
