Apple Hot Pot Holders

A very quick post to say Hi and to show you something I made a while back, but totally forgot to share it here on the blog. Remember the apple coasters I made using a free paper piecing apple pattern? I made quite a few apples that time because they were so addictive to make. I just could not stop at one.

I thought that a pair of hot pot holders would look lovely with this pattern so when I got a chance I made myself a set. Green and pink apples go so nicely together, and paired with this newspaper print, they look fantastic! The only problem is that they look so good that I have not been able to bring myself to use them. He he... So they are just hanging in the kitchen to brighten up the space a bit for now. Maybe one day I would be able to use them. :-)

But back to this pattern. It really is nice and there are so many things that can be made using it and you can be creative with the choices of fabric for your apples. I thought I would share the link for the PDF file. So here it is, Apple by Jennifer Ofenstein. Stay creative! Larisa xox

  1. I can understand why you don't want to actually use them, Larisa! Ha ha ha!

    1. It's silly, but I don't want to see them getting dirty or burnt. :-) Every time I tell myself that nice time I am baking I would use them, I still grab the old set of hot pot holders. :-) Thank you for stopping by, Dina!
