Sweet Dreams, Little Princess

I am making something girly. A take along play set. I am not sure yet exactly how the final version will look like but one thing I know for sure, it will have this Little Princess in it.

A tiny mattress, a pillow and a quilt. That's all she needs for a good night sleep. For now she is staying in the white basket but very soon she will have her very own home to live in.

She is tiny, no taller than 11 cm. She is simply a cut out of Belle & Boo fabric called Ava & Friends. But she is very friendly and loves flowers, birds, sweets and everything pink.

I am very curious to see what this small project will evolve into. I've had this idea on my mind for a very long time and made a few sketches that I am quite happy with but I know, that once I start sewing, some changes are unavoidable. That's the way I am, almost never can stick with the original idea. So let's wait and see. Have a great day everybody! Larisa xo

    1. Thank you, Gina! It's interesting that it seems like an envelope to you, it gives me a new idea for future projects. :-) No, the pillow, the mattress and the quilt are all separate but I am making something to keep all in.Can't wait to blog about it.

    1. Thank you, Carole! Unfortunately, it's not an envelope, the bedding pieces are all separate but it must look like an envelope on the photo which is surprising. Your's and Gina's comments inspired me to make something else for this Little Princess. I am so excited now. :-)
